The position of Project Coordinator within the Consumer Health team will support the Women and Kids portfolio as well as the Stroke portfolio. This position will be responsible for supporting events and programs by providing administrative and logistics support, meetings and event coordination; budget, invoice, grant, vendor and other financial aspects; interfacing with customers and volunteers; agenda preparation, meeting notes and regular communications across a variety of projects and departments. This position will support a variety of Consumer Health initiatives including Go Red for Women, Teaching Gardens, and the American Stroke Association as well as the Women and Kids and Stroke portfolio teams.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor project timelines while effectively communicating project needs and related information as required.
Communicate with team to organize and manage assigned projects/events. May coordinate staff, volunteers, vendors, etc. to support assigned projects. May support on-site set-up and logistics for meetings and events.
May assist with developing marketing efforts or consumer educational resources, which may include updating on-line content, distribution of marketing materials, researching references, or communication to vendors/contractors/volunteers.
Utilize vendor and/or American Heart Association systems (e.g. E1, COI, Seibel, Oasis, etc.) efficiently and competently to complete duties/projects.
Processes contracts and invoices as needed as well as grants and maintaining accurate financial records.
Evaluates and maintains information and accurate data for compliance requirements or internal reporting needs. Collaborates with internal and external customers to ensure documentation is accurate and meets expectations.
Provides coworkers, volunteers, and vendors with excellent customer service responding to requests in a timely manner and adhering to deadlines as appropriate.
Qualifications
Two (2) years of the following experience:
Proficient at project coordination
Basic accounting process experience
Demonstrated ability to prepare written and presentation communications
Demonstrated customer service skills
Preferred Qualification:
- Two (2) years of meeting or event experience
